Duties and Responsibilities
Daily responsibilities will depend on the individual’s background and the internship period. Duties may include: • Provides assistance with the update of the Business Continuity Plan and related activities such as drills, tabletop exercises and action plans by ensuring that emergency management procedures are consistent with business priorities and policies, subject to constant improvement. • Collaborates with programme/ project managers on administrative duties as requested. • Liaises with relevant parties on the interpretation of the activities/ services scheduled in the business plan. • Provides assistance on reporting requirements, guidelines, rules and procedures and ensures completeness and accuracy of the data submitted. • Performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/special skills
Studies in the area of commercial engineering, business administration, business management, industrial civil engineering or similar is desirable. 0
Languages
Fluency in (English and Spanish) is required. Knowledge of another UN official language would be an asset. NOTE: “Fluency” equals a rating of ''fluent'' in all four areas (speak, read, write, and understand) and ¨knowledge of¨ equals a rating of ''confident'' in two of the four areas.
